Organic Prairie Beef Pool

The Organic Prairie Beef Pool was founded in 1997, but it was not until the USDA approved the labeling of organic meat products in 2002 that our program really took off. We have a diverse product line and work hard for complete utilization and a stable pay price that is not connected to the ups and downs of the conventional world.

Organic beef production is an excellent opportunity for family-owned and operated farms/ranches that have ample grazing land and that can produce at least some of their own grain requirements.

Our organic beef is marketed under the Organic Prairie label and can be found in retail markets throughout the USA. Due to strong consumer demand, we are looking for new beef producers in the Midwest, Plains and Northeast regions.
