Organic Valley Egg Pool

The Organic Valley Egg Pool was founded in 1994 and has become our second largest pool of farmers in the cooperative. We offer a substantial premium for organically produced brown eggs.

We have over 80 organic egg producers, with most located in the Midwest (WI, IA and MN) and a second group located in Central and SE Pennsylvania (Lancaster County). We also plan to start new regional pools in CA, NY and potentially the Pacific Northwest in the near future.

Due to strong interest and geographic considerations, there are only limited opportunities to join our organic egg pool. Farmers with enough land base to supply the majority of their own feed requirements and with facilities to house a minimum of 2000 birds are welcome to contact us.

These web pages are a good source of information about our cooperative. We also have a packet of information for interested organic farmers that we are happy to mail to anyone.
