Meet the Farmer-Owners

At CROPP Cooperative, Our vision is regional—regional, organic, and sustainable.

Read the stories of a few of our 1652 farmer-owners, all cooperating in their home regions across the country. In the past few years, farmers have joined our production routes in several new states, which means we have regional production in more of the country (see map). In a sense, the more our cooperative grows, the smaller and more local -- more "close to home" -- we become.

Travis and Amy Forgues

Not only has Travis brought a new spirit of optimism to despairing Vermont dairy farmers and their families, but he's helping to empower them to realize their first-ever economic stability as well.

The Yoder family

"If we treat the soil right, it will return life to us. Caring for the earth, particularly the soil, is what God intended for us to do." 13th-generation farmer Kore Yoder talks about how organic farming gives him more time for family and a better quality of life — "without a doubt."
