Authentic, unique, innovative, one-of-a-kind:  That’s who we are. 

Standing out in a crowd for all the right reasons is critical to gain consumer trust and encourage brand loyalty.  Price and placement competition on store shelves is fierce! We need your expertise and passion now more than ever to tell key partners and consumers who we are. We have authentic stories to tell about the people behind the brand, people like YOU, who believe in what Organic Valley stands for, and believe in the quality products you produce and the care you take each and every day on your farm.  Telling more of our stories in person—in tandem with our “Call Us Crazy 2.0” national media campaign, will help differentiate us from the competition and increase sales.
Ways to Get Involved...

Farmers In Marketing

Authentic storytelling differentiates our brand and our cooperative in the marketplace.  Because our farmers are our best representatives, we recruit member-owners to attend off-the-farm marketing, trade, retail, government, and media events. We can train you to participate in a variety of activities, events, and speaking engagements as a paid farmer ambassador.

On the flip-side, Organic Valley utilizes on-farm experiences, called Farm Discovery Tours, to engage strategic retail partners, state and federal lawmakers, Internet influencers, and consumers— showcasing pasturing, dairy processes, milk quality, animal welfare, and sustainability.  The Farm Discovery Program is a powerful tool that offers guest groups a glimpse of life on an Organic Valley farm and facilitates personal connections to you – their local Organic Valley farmer – that cannot be replicated through traditional marketing strategies.

Social Media Farmers Needed Now

Do you have a story to tell?  Consumers want to hear it.  Our marketing teams bring our farmers to life online, through photos, videos, and farmer stories on our social media channels. We are currently seeking farmers who are already active on social media platforms to get onboard through our Farmer Cam Program (by sending in eight to 10 video clips per month); post Instagram stories; and be trained as a Social Media farmer-responder.

Own Your Community

Organic Valley provides marketing and educational materials to farmers so they can promote the co-op while volunteering in their community.  Examples of supported activities include parades, school-to-farm tours, classroom presentations, and retail store visits, amateur sporting events and tournaments and speaking engagements. 

To request support, fill out the Farmer Support Request Form or call the Farmer Hotline at 888-809-9297 at least three weeks before your event date.  You may also sign up to receive Organic Valley product coupons to hand out.
